Detroit is set to take on an old rival on Monday, but it has been safe to say the Avalanche look nothing like the team that lifted Lord Stanley’s Cup last spring. Though they have dealt with injuries to their captain, Gabriel Landeskog, as well as their franchise superstar Nathan MacKinnon.
